Major Exhibitions Currently Offered

Smithsonian curators are constantly working to create public exhibitions that educate and inspire. Roughly two-thirds of the exhibitions offered are permanent exhibitions of collections held by our museums, libraries, archives, and zoo. Examples include The First Ladies at the American History Museum, Time and Navigation at the Air and Space Museum, and The Struggle for Justice at the National Portrait Gallery. Visitors can also enjoy exciting temporary exhibits organized by Smithsonian staff, often in collaboration with outside experts and organizations. Learn what's on view at si.edu/exhibitions
